Karishma Emporium is a luxury boutique specializing in premium Indian ethnic wear, including tailored lehengas, bridal wear, and designer sarees. The business required an online storefront that could reflect their physical store's premium character while overcoming the primary limitations of traditional fashion e-commerce: custom fit parameters.
To address this, we customized a Shopify storefront, building custom size options that allow customers to submit their chest, waist, hips, and length requirements directly on the product catalog layout.
Additionally, the storefront features visual video banner cards, advanced filtering schemas, and a custom order tracking application that verifies purchases by phone number and order ID, reducing support overhead.
A complete e-commerce experience across all essential pages.
Custom layout modules built to streamline store operations and maximize product interaction.
Allows customers to inputs chest, waist, hips and specific length parameters right on the product page, eliminating fitting issues.
Autoplaying high-definition video slides showcasing matching collection items directly on the index portal layout.
Integrated variant selectors, zoomable gallery previews, dynamic sizing charts and inline custom inputs.
Quick-load grids categorizing sarees, lehengas, and suits dynamically with tags based on color, material, and availability.
Enables purchasers to locate real-time parcel and transit status updates without logging in, directly with order IDs.
Optimized mobile catalog browsing that loads quickly even on slower connections and features custom touch gestures.
Buying luxury garments online often presents sizing challenges. Since Karishma Emporium's items are hand-tailored, a standard 'M' or 'L' badge is insufficient.
To solve this problem, we implemented an interactive form option that sits inline on the product catalog pages.
Customers can either select standard sizes or check the "Custom Fitting" box to unlock specialized form fields (including Chest, Waist, Hips, Sleeve, and total Frock/Pants lengths). These values are sent directly as line item properties to Shopify, ensuring the tailoring team receives the exact measurements.
To eliminate repetitive customer support emails asking "Where is my order?", we built a custom Order Tracking page template directly inside the Shopify schema.
The custom panel reads from the store APIs dynamically. Customers enter their Shopify Order ID (e.g. #KE-1045) and the mobile number used during payment checkout. The system validates the authorization context and prints transit milestones (Order Confirmed, Custom Stitching In Progress, Shipped, In Transit, Out for Delivery) directly on their screen.

Designed and wired the custom sizing form fields to compile and bind dynamically as line-item properties.
Built responsive auto-play video cards with touch swipe gestures on the storefront layout.
Compressed assets, configured lazy loading, and streamlined script resources for sub-2s mobile loading.
Measurable user experience enhancements delivered through custom engineering.
Giving customers the ability to submit specific waist, hip, and length measurements eliminated sizing errors and drastically lowered return request rates.
Autoplaying video carousel sliders display fabrics and stitching details realistically, driving engagement and building buyer confidence.
A self-service order tracking dashboard gives customers direct access to delivery progress, reducing support tickets and messaging overhead.
Karishma Emporium is more than just a store; it's a digital experience crafted to reflect elegance, quality and trust. Building this required merging standard e-commerce with custom tailoring inputs.
